This facility is incredible. My family had the opporturnity to visit many times over the years. I have a picture of Samson, the great male Lion, on my refrigerator and my cell phone. I LOVE Sammy! We had a chance to do a night tour during the holidays where they have the enclosures lit to look very festive. The interns,volunteers and director made this a very educational and entertaining event. It is obvious they care so much about these beautiful cats. As with all non-profits, they are always searching for creative ways to raise funds for the ever increasing needs of these older animals. We are happy to have adopted one of the tigers as a gift for our daughter. She gets monthly reports and occasional letters from her "Archie" and visits him when she can. I was so impressed with CARE, and so in awed by the cats there, that I wrote a short article for out local newspaper to encourage others to go for a visit. We LOVE CARE!!!!!!
