Review for Lake County Animal Services, Lakeport, CA, USA
I met Karen and Lake County Animal Services about 6 years ago. At that time we got our little Gertie girl. She was so shy and scared. Karen supported us in working with her. Just over a year ago we became foster parents for LCAS. It has been some of the most profoundly life changing work. Karen is a shining light of professionalism as a rescuer and a person of depth of character. She not only cares for each dog in her rescue individually, she is expert in placing them in the best homes. I cannot say enough how much I admire her intelligent sacrifice for "the least of these".
