Review for Adopt a Cat Foundation Inc, Lake Park, FL, USA
My fist encounter with Inga Hanley and the Adopt A Cat Foundation took place 15 years ago. I was asked to go with Inga to pick up some kittens that had been left at the Palm Beach Lakes Motel. There were 6 little babies about 3 weeks old. I was asked if I could foster the little ones until they were ready for adoption. That's how it all started. This Foundation has the safety and well being of each cat/kitten that finds its way to the Adopt a Cat shelter. The mission of this organization is to spay/neuter and care for the abandoned, stray, injured, or homeless cats in our community. We assist individuals and businesses that have stray cats on their property. Trap, neuter, release is used where a colony of stray cats has a caretaker. Adopt a Cat Foundation is an all volunteer run organiztion that holds fundraisers to raise money to support the shelter kitties until a home can be found. A Thrift store helps assist in paying the bills. The work that our "leader" does is endless and she gives of herself almost 24 hours a day. There have been kitties with severe and life threatening injuries that she has nursed around the clock even after a long day of endless phone calls.
