Review for United States Fellowship Of Florida, Marathon, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The USFF provides a safe, friendly, and lovely residence for adults with a severe and persistent mental illness. I first came to know this wonderful place when my son went to live there 12 years ago when he was just 19 years old. I was so afraid that he would not like it there because most of the residents were in their 40's and 50's but he found the staff to be so kind and lively that he made a swift adjustment. I'll never forget when I went to visit him after one week because I got such a warm reception from the staff. Previous experiences I had had from other schools and agencies were negative about him but when I went there, they greeted me by saying, "Oh we just love your son, he is such a delight". I have always cherished hearing those words after so many years of not hearing anything good about him. He has lived there off and on for the past 12 years and the USFF has always been a welcoming home for him and others with no-fault brain diseases. I will always supoprt them for the kindness they have shown my son and others.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the wonderful ways it has served my son. While living at the USFF he enjoys interacting with the staff and volunteers, going on outings, eating communally, getting exercise, and living a fulfilling life.

Review for Wesley House Family Services, Inc., Key West, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Wesley House sees children as part of a family and provides more than services to children but to their families as well. People who come in contact with Wesley House can be assured of a committment to caring about their family and the community they live in. When Hurricane Wilma devastated our community Wesley House coordinated a massive effort to bring brand new clothing to all members of the community -young and old alike.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

professional, courteous, friendly, and knowledgable.
