After spending many years financially supporting animal sanctuaries and animal welfare organizations, I visited In Sync Exotics. I was immediately impressed with the large, well maintained enclosures for the animals, the friendliness and knowledge of the staff and the stories behind the sanctuary's residents. Each resident animal has a unique story that involved being somewhere they did not belong and mistreated by their owners. These stories affected me deeply and made me realize that In Sync was a place for misfits. Everyone was treated with respect and care and especially love. I felt this was a place where I belonged, too. I always arrive to do my volunteer duty with an excitement of working with a great group of people and leave each shift tired, but with a big smile and a satisfaction that cannot be gained by a simple monetary donation. In Sync Exotics has made me feel like a better person.
