Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA
I used to volunteer for a nonprofit that rescued four lions that were relocated to the sanctuary. One of them was kept in an abandoned school yard and was fed live stray dogs. The other three were rscued from a circus where they traveled between towns in a dismal cage. In that cage two cubs were born and one of them died. But the survivng cub and her parents now live at the sanctuary. They would have continued living in a tiny cage, malnourished and abused. Now they roam the sanctuary. And Diego, a young male lion confiscated and who lives now in a crowded zoo, is waiting to be relocated.

Thank you very much for the support by writing a review, Astrid. Kobu, Gala, Elsa and Yuma are all doing great in their large acreage habitats roaming freely with prides of other Lions.
