Review for Young Life, Colorado Springs, CO, USA
I have been fortunate to be involved with Young Life as a high school student, a leader, a staff member, and now a member of my local committee. Not only was I impacted signific?t it has greatly impacted my personal and spiritual growth throughout my years of leadership. I am so blessed to be a part of this organization and I don't think I could ever stop being involved. I am employed now with another non-profit, but I remain completely passionate about Young Life and the way God uses it to change lives!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
In my own life! Young Life's ministry has kept my focus on Christ and kept me accountable for my decisions.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
From a professional's perspective, step outside the "Young Life culture" and present the organization more professionally to those that are unfamiliar with it. Fun is great, but when individuals have no Young Life history, it may not be received properly.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
They make Christ fun! It's been challenging at times, but overall my experience has brought me much laughter and joy.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Young Life has extraordinarily NICE people. They glow with Christ's love.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Change trillions of lives!
Ways to make it better...
My internship experience on staff was staffed with stronger leadership.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Volunteer leaders that don't take their role seriously can damage individual's view of the organization; internship programs that aren't run properly can also frustrate those considering staff positions.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I've never felt closer to the Lord than when I am on Young Life's camp properties. There is a certain calm and a realness there that is like nothing I've experienced elsewhere. It's how we were created to live!
