Review for Youthlinc, Salt Lake City, UT, USA
My participation with YouthLINC was my first significant experience with volunteerism and international humanitarian work. It has inspired me to live with more compassion and awareness of the needs of my global community. I have learned to be less consumer-driven and more producer-driven in how I live my life. It's been over seven years since my last international service excursion with YouthLINC, and I still compare the price of everything I buy with the cost of education for a Kenyan child.
