BTF is active in promoting their objective ie health and education. At our center - BPK Memorial Cancer Hospital they organized a bridge course titled BTF Advances in Medicine during May 13th and 14th, 2011. The course covered broad topics in Hematology and Oncology and proved to be quite effective. Currently BTF is involved in Bone Marrow Transplant project at BPK Memorial Cancer Center. They are supporting us with training a range of people to transfer all skills required to run a BMT center. Having first BMT unit in Nepal will have a huge impact in cancer management. The experts from BTF are also ready help us with Telemedicine by giving expert opinion in interesting and difficult patients and thus knowledge transfer will help to bridge the gap and possibly improve the outcome and quality of care.
