If I could give this charity/rescue zero stars I would. They have a long history of fraud. Fraudulent spending and fraudulent fundraising. The founders used donor money to build a 530k home for themselves. They used the Hurricane Katrina disaster to solicit funds from the public and grants from HSUS and ASPCA. Once they had the money the dumped the dogs in Alabama with a hoarder named Tammy Hansen, where many of the DIED. When they cannot get what they want, or are exposed they use threats and intimidation. When the Everett Shelter would not give them dogs after the Renee Roske Puppymill bust, they conducted an all out smear campaign against the Everett Shelter. The Everett Herald has done a bang up job of investigating and reporting on their shenannigans. The WA State Att. General spent 16 months investigating Pasado's and forced them to pay 75k and reorganize their accounting and fundraising practices. Yet they STILL remain an issue. Harassing people. False reporting. Theft of Intellectual Property. 40% of your donations go to the animals while the other 60% goes to pay the enormous salaries of their CEO. Read more here about these money grubbing media whores.
