Review for First Glance Student Center, Inc., Akron, OH, USA
First Glance is an awesome opportunity to connect with students and other leaders for a night of fun, encouragement, and support. It offers a safe environment for the teens, and the staff is an amazing group of people who care and sacrifice their time because of their desire to share God's love as well as build friendship with the students. First Glance has been a very relaxed atmosphere, there is no threat in the environment at all, and it has been a great opportunity for me to serve teens by listening to them, encouraging them through the everyday struggles they are dealing with in life, and build friendships. All Teenagers have the desire to fit in and be noticed and loved, First Glance has been amazing in helping accomplish a place where teens can come, have quality time with their friends, enjoy fun and food, and at the same time, be loved by the leaders and see their example. It really does make an impact as these teens leave to go back to the difficult situations a lot of them live in. It is the one glimps of hope they have during the week. First Glance changes lives. They make a difference.
