Review for Young Life, Colorado Springs, CO, USA
I became aware of Young Life while in college in the 1980's. I was invited to go on month long work crew to serve at a YL camp. There I worked along side kids who had come to know the Lord thru YL. I experienced the result of the ;ministry, not the how. I saw that however these folks are doing it, works! So I began to see how the took the Gospel to kids. Incarnational Evangelism, built on relationships. That's how Young Life reaches the furthest out kids.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
working along side of kids who have come to know the Lord thru YL.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Expand Latino ministry.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Seeing kids' lives changed.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Thinking outside the box of youth ministry and basing everything on building relationships with kids on their turf.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Expand its ministry to more Latino communities.
Ways to make it better...
Could not have been better.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
The current Economic crisis.
One thing I'd also say is that...
YL is community based. Each community is responsible to support the local ministry. National funding only comes during times of extreme financial challenges, such as today's.
