Review for Aim High, San Francisco, CA, USA
For the last five years I have been personally involved with the program. My brother and I have both gone through the program and loved it. Before this program I was not someone who would take chances, try new things, and believe that I could literally aim high. Once I finished the program I had made long lasting friends, I know that as a minority I can still aim high and love academics, my grades and my engagement in class has improved, and I am willing to take on any challenges and take risks. I will make a speech in front of a crowd or perform, because of my experience at Aim High. Every year I will help out Aim High with recruiting kids or help out at fundraisers because of my experience. My brother and I have gone back to volunteer and work with these students to make a difference in their lives as those T.A.s and teachers have made a difference in ours.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
professional in the sense that even though not all them were not yet college graduates, they used their knowledge and taught students what they needed. All of their class activities engaged these students.
