Good people show up time and time again to glean fields for nutritious food, which is distributed to those in need. Just a lovely group of people volunteering.

It is so easy to contribute to this endeavor. If a gleaning becomes available and it fits your schedule, you can participate. If you can't make it, you don't sign up. You get to visit a number of different farms, and you get to meet a lot of different people who are giving of themselves to do some good for the community. It is amazing to see how just a few people at a time can collect a large quantity of good quality food to fill someone's stomach. The farmer wins, the volunteer wins, and the recipients of the food win. A true win-win situation.
