My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Society of St. Andrew, Big Island, VA, USA
The Society of St. Andrews is a great organization because you get to decide how you give. You can give money and know that every penny is going to end hunger. If you want to be a little more hands on, you can participate in a gleaning or potato drop. Want to get your hands a dirty while learning about hunger? Harvest of Hope Phase I offers the chance to glean, help an organization that benefits from the gleaning, and learn about hunger and food distribution. Harvest of Hope Phase II offers the chance to reach out to the individuals that need the food that is donated through soup kitchens and food deliveries. I have donated money, gleaned and participated in Phase I along with my youth group. I highly recommend attending a Harvest of Hope. It is a life changing experience.
