Review for Southern Center for Human Rights, Atlanta, GA, USA
My affiliation as a friend of the Southern Center for Human Rights is one that I am most proud of. While at another agency in the region I worked closely with SCHR and for more than a decade maintained my support of their incredible work. The leadership is unparalleled not just in service to the clients who are truly cherished and respected but also the way in which leadership is cultivated in order to grow and assure that the quality of criminal defense representation is superb and truly heroic. Perhaps the lowest paid, these are stars in the legal community of whom we can all be proud. The SCHR is an incredible watch-dog for our justice system demanding a zealous standard for those facing the death penalty and many other impact issues like mitigating circumstances, treatment in prison facilities and much more. Every dollar of a gift to the Southern Center makes a difference in a human life, allows talented legal practitioners to give their all to issues they are most passionate about and literally changes the way the world sees justice and humanity every single day-you can literally see your gift in motion and not one single dollar goes unappreciated or unaccounted for.

Simply increase the resources to allow for greater access to justice and more professionals who are committed to the issues to work side by side with the incredible staff and leadership. There is much work to be done and with limited resources the SCHR impact far exceeds it's "footprint".
