Review for Homefront Hugs Foundation, Inc., Clark, NJ, USA
I have been a volunteer for Homefront Hugs for the last six months and have adopted two soldiers, one of whom is Afganistan and has lost men. We can never do enough to thank these brave men and women who not only sacrifice their lives but sacrifice being away from family, friends, and the comforts of home. Please, please volunteer so we can help as many folks as possible. It just takes sending care packages and notes of encouragement. You will find the experience most rewarding, and if you have children, it will be a valuable lesson on serving commuinity and volunteerism.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Notes shared from soldiers and coverage from new agencies.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Try to get larger corporations involved.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
It makes me feel good when a soldier gets so excited about receiving a package of corn nuts! The gratitude is so huge for something I do that is small in comparison.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Alessadra Kellerman is a tireless advocate.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Expand its outreach.
Ways to make it better...
NA
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Not enough volunteers.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I lived overseas myself for a time and it is stressful and challenging to find the things from home that bring you comfort. Imagine being in a conflict zone.
