I have been a sponsor for CCF and now Childfund International for the past 4 years. I beleive this charity does make a difference in the lives of many impoverished families. I too get a little steamed over the $9 fee for Christmas and birthday cards but feel the 20% charge off the top for any additional monies donated monthly is really out of line. As for the 255K salary for the CEO it is probably in line for most large charities. I just look at the outlandish salaries for CEO's in the public sector and wager that she could probably do much better outside of Childfund International if she desired.
