Review for Aim High, San Francisco, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

My eigh grader girl had the best summer experience ever. Hoover Middle School counselor told me that AIM High was a great program. I agree. My girl was acepted the second time we apply. I recommended 100%. AIM curriculum is perfect designed to prepare the student for the transition from middle school to high school. When she started her first week of high school experience, whe was very relax and confident. I thank AIM High for such a wonderful job. I am very happy AIM High accepted my niece when she needed the most. Go AIm HIGH!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The curriculum was great. It was my girl's first experience in a high school setting. After the 5 weeks she was really prepare and confident about her future in her studies in high school

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

have to promote incentive and appreciation for the leaders that tought about creating this program

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

I enjoyed the dedication of the teachers. They were committed to the students entirely.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Very cordial and professional

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

take a larger number of students in their program.

Ways to make it better...

I knew about the program earlier on like in the 6th grade

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

probably funds.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Kids and parents should fill the surveys that are send home at the end of the program. I think we should show our appreciation by filling out. Kids should be aware of the survey earlier on before the program ends.
