I am John Boniface Kulu-Idambi. I am a lawyer by profession. I was sponsored by Child Fund International right from Primary School, High School and at the University where I graduated as a lawyer. Without their sponsorship, I would have dropped out of school

I am a Board Member of Child Fund International (Uganda National Office). I work with the Ministry of Justice as a Senior State Attorney in charge of prosecuting criminals in society. I appear before the judges of Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and High Court of Uganda.

As a prosecutor, I ensure that those who break the law are finally brought to justice. Hence reducing crime in society by sending hard-core criminals to jail. I am the Secretary General of all spokesmen/women in East Africa in the Association called East Africa Public Relations Association. I am the president of the Child Fund International Alumni Association (an association of former sponsored children in the world ). Our patron is the president/CEO of Child Fund International, Ms Anne Goddard. I am as well a member of Uganda Law Society Human Rights Committee.


I thank Child Fund International for sponsoring me because I am from a humble origin. Without their sponsorship I would not have managed to hold such big positions in society. Their sponsorship was equivalent to someone giving his child a fishing net instead of fish.
