Review for Operation Write Home, Federal Way, WA, USA
As the wife of a retired serviceman, I can attest to the need for contact while they are away. OWH volunteers make beautiful cards so where there is no where to buy them, they are available. We know by the thanks we get from recipents of the cards, they are extremely welcome. So, this organization helps support our service people and their families and friends. On top of that, I have never met such caring people, the other cardmakers, as I have since beginning to make the cards.

As the wife of a military retiree, I can tell you I wish this organization had been in existence when my husband was serving. It makes the ability to keep in touch with loved ones so much easier for the service member and helps the person receiving the card know the one they care for is okay. I am very proud to be able to help in some small way making cards for this well run, organized wonderful group of people.
