Review for Steel City Rowing Corporation, Verona, PA, USA
I have to write because the people at Steel City Rowing changed my daughter's life, all for the better. When she got involved, we had no way of knowing that she'd become such a leader, or make friends from all areas of the City and so many other schools. (Consistently, over the years, we've found the kids are upbeat, fun and work so hard. The coaches set high standards, but teach the kids not just rowing, but about respect for others, about giving back and volunteering). She ended up teaching younger kids and becoming a leader. This experience truly helped to shape her and we recommend it to other families.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
The students who develop into such great people.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Brag. (but they don't)
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Seeing my child's sense of confidence grow.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Devoted!
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Fill the rivers with kids exercising, teach them about the environment, make rowing possible for every family.
Ways to make it better...
I had known about this sooner. Maybe some additional marketing?
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Money, of course.
One thing I'd also say is that...
This is an organization that changes lives. It's about a lot more than just rowing.
