They are always there for us, anytime we need them even to hear my complaints with complications in life, they are always there to support our family, thank you so much for everything you do for us and all of the families that goes through you guys to find some sort of release to see their loved ones.

We arrived on June 2009 to Walter Reed and got connected with the Ladies from YRF, since then we have feel the true care and love from everyone in this organization, knowing as a caregiver that you are not alone is enough, even though I am hard to share with other spouses about my own issues I know that they are also battling the same war. REcently YRF has come to our aid while my husband continues to get treatment at WR, it is hard to keep going back and forth from the hospital to our house and they put us in a hotel 5 minutes from the hospital where I can have the baby and I a roof and a bed to sleep every night. Again, thank you for what you do and for the tons of volunteers whiling to help us. Also on Valentine's day we were treated like princesses when they host a day for us at a nice hotel in Washington, DC and we had a nice dinner and share time with other couples.

My husband retired medically on 2012 and recently we found out that he is having more complications to his prosthesis and since my mother-in-law is scared of flying Luke's Wings donated airplane tickets for my husband to see his mom before the surgeries starts again. We are so greatful of you guys because it means so much to him and her to be together and she even blessed him the day we were leaving Miami. He had the oportunity to share quality time with his nieces and nephews; this trip meant the world to us, we never stressed in the fact of driving almost 18 hours one way just to get and stay 2 or 3 days. For all of these points we are indebted to you guys. Again thank you for this awesome time.

When we first met Mrs. McGrew we were in Walter Reed and she always organized all kind of trips an entertainment for the soldiers and their family. I ran to her again at Operation Homefront where she comes every week to expend time with the spouses doing scrapbooks providing all materials, this organization goes above and beyond their duty and Cindy is so open to comprehend and understand the stress and the pain we are going through.
