Review for Teen Challenge Of Florida Inc, Columbus, GA, USA

I volunteer at the Teen Challenge Center for Adult Men in Tallahassee,Florida, which is under the parent group-Teen Challenge of Florida. I have seen the change in these men during their 12 month stay at our center whether they came to the program voluntarily, or, if they were court ordered to the program to avoid jail time.The staff truly cares about each individual, no matter their circumstance and no matter if they pay a dime or anything for their stay at the center.Turning around from a life long addiction is a hard thing to do & would want to get my help for a better life at Teen Challenge Tallahassee Men's Center.

I chose to volunteer at this program because I have personally seen a man's life be transformed and made whole through going through the 12 month program.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Have more income so they could do more things to help more men. Like a bigger facility.

Role:  Volunteer & working in the clothes closet for student coming to the program with no personal items, served on the advisory board, chairperson for the annual golf fundraiser, worked several days a week in the office doing clerical jobs.
