Review for Friends of Homeless Animals Inc, Marathon, FL, USA
I have been a volunteer with FOHA for almost 3 yrs. now and probably fostered around 30 dogs and puppies as well that would have been euthanized. It is a wonderful group of people who always put the animals first and work together as a whole for the good of our dogs. These dogs are mostly death row dogs that would suffer a horrible death by gas. When I look at the many we have saved and are in loving homes now I am overjoyed. Roie takes on the sick, injured, and dogs that no one else would give a chance at a good life. She makes sure they get that chance through FOHA.

Did your volunteer experience have an effect on you? (teaching you a new skill, or introducing new friends, etc.)
I have learned so much about caring for the sick and injured, and taking care of puppies. I have met so many new people that I now call friends. i stay in touch with about 90% of the wonderful people who have chosen my fosters to adopt.
How did this volunteer experience make you feel?
I feel as I am doing a good thing. Every time a foster gets adopted it makes room for one more to be saved.
