Since it's inception, I have supported the Kelsey B Diamantis TS Scholarship Family Foundation and had the privilege of serving on the Evaluation Committee for the D4TS Scholarships for many years. It has been exciting to see how the founders themselves have learned and grown as a result of their efforts to develop this scholarship program. They have put their heart and soul into this initiative - and it shows!

What has amazed me has been the quality of the applicants. These students shine! They are engaged, interested in the world around them and striving for their goals in life.

What an impact this program has, as it provides opportunities to help students develop into the leaders of tomorrow!

The Deaf Family Literacy Academy, a Volunteer USA Program, has consistently provided outstanding support to the deaf community. I have seen, firsthand, how children and their families are enriched through the services provided by the Academy. There are many opportunties for expansion of these programs, both in the South Florida community as well as in other communities nationwide. Through their partnership with Volunteer USA, DFLA is positioned to partner with educational institutions/organizations to expand their programs and impact.
