Review for Nazareth Farm Inc, Salem, WV, USA
The week I spent at Naz was easily one of the best weeks of my life. Helping to repair homes sounds great on paper, and it is, but the Naz experience is much more than that. Just hanging out with everybody on Community Night was awesome, and I think that all the volunteers had as much fun as the community members who stopped by. Talking to all of the homeowners across WV really was an eye opening experience. My week at Nazareth Farm was three years ago by now, and i remember everything as if it were yesterday. It changed my life for the better.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
how fortunate I feel for everything I have. I'm more socially conscious, and I'm much, much closer to God than I was before I went.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I wouldn't change a thing.

A lot
Did the organization use your time wisely?
Quite well
Would you recommend this group to a friend?
Definitely
Did your volunteer experience have an effect on you? (teaching you a new skill, or introducing new friends, etc.)
I made friends that to this point are some of the best friends I've ever had.
How did this volunteer experience make you feel?
I literally have never felt as great as I did as I was leaving the Farm. Something about the atmosphere of the Farm, the staff members, the home owners, and the other volunteers leaves you so full of love for everything and everyone around you. I have other friends who went in the years after me, and they described the exact same feeling, even though they went with different groups at different times with different staff members and homeowners.
