Review for Oya No Kai Inc, Portland, OR, USA
In my experience, Oya No Kai is a well-run and extremely effective support organization, particularly for being entirely volunteer led. Their fundraising activities are effective and efficient, with the vast majority of funds raised going directly to program support. The volunteer leadership is of high quality, effective and accountable.
Oya No Kai's programs are of high quality as well, including the intern program they support for Portland Public School's Japanese language immersion program. Their Kurabu summer camp program is also of high quality.

I have contributed to Oya No Kai on numerous occasion, attended several of their fundraising events, and my children have either benefited from or directly participated in their programs.

Provide greater resources for management and administration. The volunteer leadership is great, but they could sure use some staff support.
