Review for San Francisco Opera Association, San Francisco, CA, USA
This world-renowned Opera has resided in the Civic Center's War Memorial Opera House since the building's completion in 1932. The opera presents about 70 performances of 10 to 12 operas. Long considered a major international company and the most important operatic organization in the US outside New York.

Review for San Francisco General Hospital Foundation, San Francisco, CA, USA
This review is for the CARE program within San Francisco General Hospital. The CARE program manages the Araceli Theater Project, which is a drama therapy program for cancer survivors. Through drama classes, survivors heal and learn to express their stories. They engage their imagination and voice, in a safe community setting. The plays are valuable to the community, because they bring forth issues and allow the audience to better understand what others are going through.

Review for LIVESTRONG Foundation, Austin, TX, USA
I attended the LIVESTRONG Summit, sponsored by the Lance Armstrong Foundation. They brought together 1000 leaders in the fight against cancer-- from researchers to fundraisers to advocates. I was truly inspired by the event; my experience was invaluable to my work. I really appreciate what the Foundation has done to unite advocates in the endeavor of making cancer a national priority.

Review for World Savvy Inc, Minneapolis, MN, USA
I volunteered at the World Affairs Challenge in 2008, put on by World Savvy. The event was extremely organized, from volunteer training to execution. I believe the students truly benefited from the event, and it opened my eyes to the inequities of our public school system. Despite having to be there at 8 AM on a Saturday, I had a great time and would love to volunteer again.
