Review for Youth Leaders International, Spencerville, MD, USA
This is an organisation that draws together young people from a wide range of cultures with the purpose of developing their leadership skills but more importantly heightening their awareness, acceptance and celebration of difference and diversity within humankind. The results have been and continue to go beyond and preconceptions that I had prior to engaging in the program . The 3 year commitment is a key hallmark of the program. Each year we look forward to rejoining the groups whom we met with the year previously to furher cement our ties across the globe.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
The broadness of vision of the students whom I have taken each year as well as the quality of the relationships with our 6 students and with the students from the other countries.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Move all three of the programs to the states to reduce the financial impacts of the current economic downturn?
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Helpful, open and enthusiastic. Great people who are good to be around
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Maintain an exciting program that connects young people globally. This program serves to develop greater global understanding in future industry, community and possibly world leaders. To be encouraged!
Ways to make it better...
More cultural connection in The second year of the program. However it was great to see the beauty and history of the Czech Republic
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
