Review for San Francisco-Marin Food Bank, San Francisco, CA, USA
i went here for an evening volunteer event. friends do it more regularly than I. you show up at a set time, and they break you into groups and have you do things like sort cans, sort produce, or pack up food. it was reasonably organized, and reasonably social when you go with friends. i guess I could have used a bit more info on the organization's mission and where everything goes, but they did have a brief intro and tour.

excellent work to keep trails open to mountain bikers, help maintain them. they also educate mountain bikers on how to ride with minimal damage and maximum consideration, and educate other trail users on how mountain bikers can be trail stewards and care just as much about the environment as other users.
