Review for Apache Junction Horse Rescue Corporation, Apache Junction, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

My husband and I are second year visitors to Apache junction from Canada. We stopped by to see if the horses. Jim and Glenda came out and spent over an hour with us. By the end of the visit we felt like family.

They explained that for the first time in their history all horses were spoken for, and once the adoptions are completed they will than turn attention to the next deserving horses. All the horses are well cared for, plenty of food and clean water. Good exercise and training programs in place. I was taken back on how they help place so many horses both from the property and helping so many other rescues place horses over the internet.

After an unexpected visit I found the couplee Glenda and Jim very helpful.
They stoped eating dinner just to show the horses to my grand childern, Glend even gave them carrots to feed to the horses.
I most state that the place is well run and very clean. The horses are loved with plenaty of room to run. We spend almost two hours talking with them.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

that they make every one feel they are a part of the rescue. from letting the grand kids pet the horses to letting them ride on them. Jim has a great hand with the horses.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Donate more money to help them grow and expand as needed. They do need a hay barn and the cost is not to high about $6,000.00
