Review for Alpine Learning Group Inc, Paramus, NJ, USA
Alpine Learning Group is an amazing organization that has served the autism community for over 20 years. I am proud to support the students, families, staff and volunteers of Alpine because without the bravery and commitment of the founders and the tenacity of the teachers, children with autism would have very few options. They led the way when noone else would and provided the foundation for schools here in the US as well as helping to establish programs in Italy, Kosovo and Canada. The leadership of Alpine Learning Group in the field of autism education has impacted the lives of hundreds of families who are in need of guidance as they face the daily and life long challenges of autism. My favorite story was told to me by a parent who overheard someone saying that children with autism can't learn to ride a bike. Her response was "Well they are riding bikes at Alpine." Nothing is impossible for children and adults with autism, because at Alpine, they have the knowledge, expertise, tools and heart to make the impossible, possible.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Seeing the daily progress of the students was amazing. Watching a new child come to the school with little to no verbal skills and 6 months later holding a conversation with them. Watching them grow and learn beyond anyone's expectations. Watching a student play Pomp & Circumstance on the piano during the adult learner's graduation ceremony. All of these things have altered my perception, and indeed, society's expectations of what children and adults with autism are capable of.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Make more opportunities for volunteers to interact with the organization.
