Review for In-Sync Exotics, Inc., Wylie, TX, USA
After reviewing In-Sync's reviews by all those who love and support them; the rating by another reviewer and Ms. Keahey's comments peeked my interest so after a google search and reading their website:
Concerned that there is only one Key Staff member besides Ms. Keahey to care and manage all their cats. There is a probability that they are over dependent on volunteers to fill these voids in their staff. No offense to those dedicated volunteers; but as a business/organization it is important to have adequate staffing. Volunteers cannot always be there when needed and the number of volunteers fluctuates and/or diminishes over time or is seasonal. (For those who volunteer you are wonderful and please do not take offense to this review) It is also about safety and having staff experienced staff on the premises at all times.
After 20 years in owning, operating and managing horse facilities . I am very much aware how labor intensive and expensive it is in operating any animal facility; as well as maintaining and hiring staff who have credentials needed to perform animal husbandry and their training combined with their work experiences meet the standards of my facilities.
I have to give them a middle of the road review based on my concerns.

I do not have any personal experience with this organization. Only reviewed comments posted on this site as well as In-Sync Exotic's website.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
The number of animals to staff should raise concerns in management practices. Personally would hire additional staff with experience in animal care and management (specifically for exotics) even if these were part-time in order to reduce HR costs. Just a suggestion of course. I found In-Sync through this site as I was hoping to find a local animal rescue to provide financial support; so I do not have any personal experience with this organization.
