Review for Everyone Reading, New York, NY, USA
Dyslexia is a disability that often slips between the cracks. In NYC, the DOE doesn't even administer tests that capable of diagnosing it, thus making it difficult to get any services. Legislators, educators and parents need to be aware that many children that could be helped very early on are not getting it & are suffering the consequences. Everyone Reading, however, is a fabulous first stop for anyone who suspects a reading disorder. They can provide you with referrals for psychologists, tutors, attorneys and advocates & regularly host low-cost workshops.
