Review for Covenant House, New York, NY, USA
My personal experience is limited to Covenant House's monthly letters to donors describing the heart breaking stories of homeless kids who they have encountered, all whom they have tried to help. Some stories have happy endings with the kids going on to become successful contributors to society, and other stories do not have such happy endings if the kids are unwilling to accept the help offered.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
reading about the tremendous work they are doing, going to any lengths to reach out to the homeless kids...our country's future...living on the streets doing the unthinkable to survive.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Any changes would require funds and donations. They are doing the best they can with what they have, eeking the most out of every nickel, and I can't think of any changes possible unless more donors step up and help out.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Covenant House staff uses unconditional love to repair the damage done to these kids, to get them educated and into jobs to give them back their self-esteem and sense of worth, making them productive members of society rather than just another statistic.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
I haven't met any personally, but based on what I read in their newsletters, the staff is 100% devoted to helping these kids.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
fulfill all its hopes and dreams of reaching out and rescuing all the homeless kids throughout the U.S.
Ways to make it better...
none come to mind.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
lack of funds needed in order to reach out and to provide shelter, food, clothing, education, and jobs...a future...to the homeless kids of our nation.
One thing I'd also say is that...
this is a well established (35+yrs!) and worthy organization working successfully to rescue our homeless kids, provide them with the basics, and prepare them to re-enter society successfully.
