Review for The Humane Society of the United States, Washington, DC, USA
I joined because I supported the initiatives that HSUS has sponsored for Animal Welfare in OH. But since then I have been inundated with mailing labels, calendars and other junk almost every week. I have enough mailing lables to last a lifetime! I don't want my dontated dollars spent in weekly mailings I want them to use the money to promote the welfare of farm animal production. I feel they are wasting my donation, spending it all soliciting further donations.

Stop spending money on the overwhelming amount of mailings! I had already become a member, I didn't want any more requests for money and didn't want any more junk!
Hi Disney, I work at HSUS, and we're sorry to hear that! We totally understand that some people don't like mailings. We get positive feedback about a lot of the things we mail out, however there is also the option to reduce mailings. You can contact membership@humanesociety.org if you'd like to reduce the mailings that you receive. Thanks for the support in OH!
