Review for Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy, Tallahassee, FL, USA
The Volunteer USA Foundation is a tremendous organization that truly understands the importance of literacy in our communities and helping strengthen families in need. As a volunteer, I have witnessed first hand their tireless efforts to develop programs that encourage education among teens, provide scholarships to deserving families, and propmote reading in the home through their "Inspire Your Baby" newborn journal. They are truly making a differece in the lives of many throughout this country.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the reward of helping provide hope for families who may not have had the opportunity and financial backing to go to college. Volunteer USA Foundation has made that happen for many.

Role: Volunteer & I helped in the coordination of delivering books to one of their literacy academies in Southwest Florida as well as volunteer at the annual Celebration of Reading event.
