Review for The Humane Society of the United States, Washington, DC, USA
I'm not sure why so many people complain that the Humane Society isn't just a big animal shelter. Yes, we should support our local shelters. However, we should also support organizations working for change on a larger scale. We need better laws to protect animals, and we need people to become more aware of what is actually going on with animals in our country so that we can work to make changes. This is what the Humane Society does, and they do it better than any other animal welfare organization out there. I will continue to support them in making a difference for ALL animals.
