Review for The Humane Society of the United States, Washington, DC, USA
The HSUS is a master example of misdirection and half truths to further a private agenda. While cloaking themselves in a deceptive name and appealing for funding on the basis they help animals the goal is to influence politicians to restrict human and animal interaction. They are the fund raising and political action and lobbing arm of the Animal Rights movement. No dogs or cats or other animals are fed or housed or given vet care by this group. They are well compensated lawyers and lobbiests.

Focus on Animal Welfare and improving the human animal interactive experience rather than trying to eliminate the interaction.
