Review for Animal Compassion Team of California, Squaw Valley, CA, USA
I love ACT! I currently have one of their dogs on a Foster basis. Molly is being treated for heartworm. She has quite a story, and could have easily been turned away by ACT. As a part of their screening process her heartworm was detected. There was NO hesitation about her care, they wanted to help Molly and so did I. She is an incredible animal. Without ACT and their compasion I don't know that Molly would have had the same outcome. It is most likely that her heartworm would not have been found. Molly is continuing her treatment and hopefully will be heartworm free! I love ACT, all of their volunteers and their tireless efforts for the animals who can not speak for themselves.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I have seen the volunteers educate citizens about the importance of spay/neuter. I have seen people who were hesitant to spay/neuter see the importance because of the education. These people are amazing. They take in animals that other people would normally give up on, health issues, legs needing amputation. They see the beauty in all creatures. They don't take just the "adoptable" animals. Every animal deserves a chance and they want to give them one.
