Review for International Fund for Animal Welfare, Inc., Yarmouth Port, MA, USA
I first became aware of IFAW in the 90s and their efforts to end the brutal seal hunt in Canada. In 1996 I moved back to Massachusetts from Baltimore and found myself living less them a mile from their headquarters. I wanted to learn more about IFAW before I became a donor and was amazed at the number of causes they are involved in globally, and equally amazed at the dedicated staff. Now in 2011 I am a proud supporter of IFAW. I traveled to India and saw the amazing work they their team does in Kaziranga in rehabilitating orphaned elephants and Rhinos, I have witnessed the heartbraking struggles of the marine mammal rescue team during strandings, I met Cora Bailey from the CLAW program in South Africa and I have been privileged to have many conversation with IFAW staff members and Executive Leadership. The passion and commitment to end cruelty and exploitation of animals is felt from the top down. I celebrate all of their victories because they deserve it and they do it with quiet resolve.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
many many ways - I follow their campaigns on-line
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
ask them to promote themselves more - even folks on Cape Cod are not aware of the work that they do
