Review for International Fund for Animal Welfare, Inc., Yarmouth Port, MA, USA
My wife and I have supported IFAW's important mission for over 30 years. We believe that while this is not the only animal welfare non-profit out there, it is one that has maintained a consistent mission and communications strategy over the years. They are important advocates for wildlife for its own sake. One thing that distinguishes IFAW is the focus not on maintaining habitat and wildlife for eventual "use" by people, but to simply "do the right thing". Their "save the Seals" campaign was probably one of the most important campaigns ever run to highlight the needless and cruel exploitation of animals for human frivolity. I will continue to support IFAW into the future, and have confidence in the management team and staff to maximize the use of my donations to further the mission.
