Review for Born Free USA , Silver Spring, MD, USA
I love this group! Watching the movie Born Free is one of my earliest memories of seeing people devoted to protecting animals. I am so proud to support Born Free USA as they carry on the legacy of that movie. Protecting wild animals - whether they are here in the US or around the globe - is so critical. I love that Born Free USA helps animals in so many ways - from strenfthening laws to investigations to providing sanctuary to wild species in need. They give me easy ways to help, and to keep up to date on the latest issues affecting wild animals.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
getting regular updates from their primate sanctuary, where I sponsor a monkey! I also see that they put my donation to work by funding hands-on projects that help animals in their native habitats (my favorites are the elephant, lion and parrot projects). I love the work they do for wild animals who are harmed by the exotic "pet" trade by educating people about it and passing laws to protect those animals and people in the communities where they are kept.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
give them more money - I don't have much to give but they are on the short list of groups I support because I see results from their effort.
