Review for In-Sync Exotics, Inc., Wylie, TX, USA
I have been in and out of In sync for quite some time now, I have watched them grow physically in size, as well as in their message and in their cause. I have volunteered quiet a lot of places but never found an organization as dedicated or pure. It really is all about the cats. The mistreatment of some of the world’s most beautiful large predators is a problem that is so overlooked and it is sad. They are the stuff of legends, of worship and myth but more than that they are creatures that live, breath and feel. We raise them, inbreed them, miss treat them and leave them to die for our own images, for money and out of twisted pride. In sync saves them, heals them and gives them a place to live out the rest of their lives in peace and comfort. All while educating the public on this huge and obscure problem and fighting for the rights of exotic animals in the U.S. The abuse we are legally allowing people to get away with is unfair. It has to stop and we have to make it stop.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I have see multiple animals come through Insync and make full and rapid recoveries. The lengths that they go to in order to educate people are tremendous. The dedication to the cats is out of this world. The proof is in the pudding, and insync gets the job done.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Nothing, not a thing. Though, If I was rich I would give them quite a decent sum of money, feeding big cats and providing them with medical care isn’t cheap :)

Definitely
What one change could this group make that would improve your volunteer experience?
Nothing, it is perfect.
Did your volunteer experience have an effect on you? (teaching you a new skill, or introducing new friends, etc.)
Yes, I found that I am gifted at working with animals. When I was a teenager it gave me something to do that kept me out of trouble. It gave me a sense of meaning and worth. I found friendship in the animals and other volunteers that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world.
How did this volunteer experience make you feel?
Like I was doing real honest good. Everyone one wants to help domestic cats and dogs, but I help their beautiful, wild, giant cousins who have somehow slipped through the cracks and out of our worries. Every day I walk into In sync I feel like I am saving lives.
