Review for Green Beret Foundation, Montgomery, TX, USA
My husband was severely injured on Aug 16, 2010 and is still currently undergoing more surgeries, treatment, therapy and rehab at Walter Reed/Bethesda. The Green Beret Foundation has been with us every step of the way. When I was waiting for my husband to be flown back to the states, the GBF presented me with a check to help with any extra unknown costs that I may have incurred. While my husband was in the SICU, IMCU and finally on a regular ward I had our children stay with my sister in Florida. The GBF offered to help pay for flights back and forth so that our kids could come to the hospital twice a month. We were fortunate to not have to ask the GBF for that help, but it was still comforting to know that they would have taken care of the flights. The GBF made it very clear that should we need anything, anything at all that they would help us whenever and wherever they could- and they stand by that to this day.
After my husband became an outpatient, my father passed away. The GBF helped with some of the costs that came with moving all of my fathers belongings. To me, this went above and beyond.
The GBF doesn't just offer services to the service member, but to the entire family as well. There is a college scholarship for children as well. Jen Paquette makes sure that any new opportunities, information etc is put out as quickly as possible. She has been wonderful to our family, and we deeply appreciate all that she, and the foundation do. We are blessed to have the GBF in our lives.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
The GBF presented me with a check to make sure that when I got to Walter Reed that should I have any unknown financial issues arise, it was taken care of. The GBF helped to offset costs incurred by my fathers passing.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I wouldn't change anything. :)
