Review for International Fund for Animal Welfare, Inc., Yarmouth Port, MA, USA
For several decades, IFAW has successfully adjusted to changing eceomonic and social realities and done so with focus and sound program and financial management which has allowed it to continue and grow its work of creating a better world for animals worldwide. IFAW's base of over 1.2 million supporters and its presence in over 60 countries makes it possible for it to suscessfully collaborate with communities, government leaders, and like-minded organizations around the world and achieve lasting solutions to pressing animal welfare and conservation challenges. The change IFAW is making in the world is sustainable change becuase its solutions benefit both animals and people. I am proud to be an IFAW supporter and eternally grateful for the work it does every day to create a better world for the animals that we love and respect.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I traveled to india in January of 2010 to visit IFAW's Center for Wildlife Rehabilition and Conservation. CWRC is located near Kaziranga National Park, in North East India, and was founded in 2001 through a collaboration between the Wildlife Trust of India, IFAW and the Assam Forest Department. CWRC was one of India's first multi-species rehabilitation centers and is designed to care for a variety of animals until they are capable of surviving release back into the wild. It was a life changing experience.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I only wish that there were enough resources to allow IFAW to be in every country in the world. Those people and animals touched by IFAW's work are incredibly lucky.
