I've been visiting and supporting TWAS for years because of the work they do. To see the majestic creatures living in peace is phenomenal. They care about the animals FIRST.
Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA
I found out about this wonderful organization through a documentary on Animal Planet. I have since visited several times, directed my charitable donations the the Combined Federal Campaign to the organization and purchased merchandise to both support and advertise their efforts. I think what they do is beyond words. These animals have no choices and Pat and his crew provide to them care, food and a real home after years of abuse and exploitation. Some of the stories have made me cry and then I see a beautiful lion on his back in the sun and I am speechless. The efforts made and the accomplishments are miraculous. I am proud to say there is a small piece of heaven right here in my beautiful state of Colorado.
