Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA
I learned of TWAS a few years ago when they were faced with closure due to lack of funds. To know that the necessary work they do would not continue just wasn't an option and thankfully people all over the world responded. Now they are leading the way in outreach, education and yes, heroic measures to give the animals they serve not only a better life but a Good life, which every animal deserves. TWAS was the only facility capable of accepting 25 abused Bolivian circus lions earlier this year and seeing those big beautiful cats being released and getting their first taste of space and freedom and adequate food still brings tears to my eyes. I really appreciate the Sanctuary's commitment to ending exotic animals being abused by those idiots who think it's appropriate to have a tiger or a bear as a pet. I will support the wonderful people and the work they do at TWAS as long as I live, and I hope you will too.

Joy. Every time I read about what they've accomplished it literally brings tears to my eyes and I feel an overwhelming appreciation for Pat and everyone at the Sanctuary and especially for the wonderful donors who continue to support this amazing venture. And getting to see these lovely creatures living and roaming freely right here in CO is beyond description.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I can only think of one thing - the newsletter that is emailed out is beautifully done but it can be made easier to read. I wish you would change the format to allow more clear paging and easier page turns.
