Started going years ago when they had just opened for the public. I was so impressed with Pat, the staff and their mission. My mom had already been and felt the same. I teach at a Buddhist temple so I made the sanctuary my class field trip at the end of each year. We had great discussions about how the animals ended up at the sanctuary and the animals were so fortunate to be able to recover and heal at this wonderful place. We are now part of the circle of life and the sanctuary is in our wills. Can't say enough about the sanctuary. We are so fortunate to live hour away.

Incredible facility. It's great for all ages. There are walk ways so you can be above the animals and yet be able to watch them and feel them. The contentment of the animals is obvious. Such a wonderful place for animals that get a chance to live without cages or torture.
